Brooklyn Marie Durr, 13, daughter of Hope Marie Durr of Lawrenceburg and Nick Whitenack of Frankfort, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

Born July 11, 2003, Brooklyn was an 8 ^th grade student at Anderson County Middle School. Brooklyn's love of life shown in her love for her family, going to parties, watching her huge collection of movies, singing to her favorite music especially 70's music, her daily request of Huddle House hash browns, eating French fries and salt & vinegar chips.

Along with her parents, Brooklyn is survived by maternal grandparents, Dudley and Minnie Davenport and Jimmy Durr; maternal great-grandparents, Opal Satterly, Jimmie Hawkins, Bobby and Shirley Thornberry, Billy and Tina Durr, all of Lawrenceburg; paternal grandparents, Darian and Dona Carroll-Peyton of Frankfort, Billy and Lauren Whitenack of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Dakota Waldridge and Kayden Coulter; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 beginning at 1:00 PM at the Alton Christian Church, 1686 Old Frankfort Rd., Lawrenceburg, KY led by Bro. Noal Cotton, Jr. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 – 8 PM Thursday and after 11 AM Friday at the Alton Christian Church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Dean Durr, Logan Durr, Billy Waford, Travis Wright, Alan Robinson, and Johnny Whitenack.
