Bro. E. Paul Perry, 97, husband of Mary Lucille Hatchett Perry, passed to his Heavenly home on February 5, 2022 at Morning Pointe Senior Care in Frankfort, KY.  Born June 8, 1924 in Anderson County, KY, he was a son of the late Delbert Perry and Mary Zella Briscoe Perry.

A retired Christian Minister and Evangelist, E. Paul served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII with a shortened stint due to a medical discharge.  He later met his wife Lucille while working at Dean & Shirk Thread Factory in Lawrenceburg.  Completing only an 8 ^th grade education, he entered Kentucky Christian College and graduated summa cum laude with a BA Degree.  They raised two sons, also ministers, and served the following Christian churches: Pleasant Hill  (Anderson Co.), Fairview (Washington), Mayo (Mercer), Chaplin (Nelson), Syria (Orleans, IN), Henry (Henry), Oak Grove (Beckley, WV)  Antioch (Montgomery), Salyersville (Magoffin), Graefenburg (Shelby) Westside (Casey) and Creelsboro (Russell). His home church was Corinth Christian Church in Anderson County, KY.

Bro. Perry is survived by Lucille, his wife of 75 years, his sons, Charles Allen Perry (Sherlan) and Ernie Wayne Perry (Pam), all of Lexington, two granddaughters, Laurel Katelyn Perry (Joshua) Fawcett of Wilmore and Kyleigh Madison Perry (Thomas) McClure of Grayson, KY, three great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Kamden, and Addison Fawcett.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Gilbert Perry, Sara Alice Cooper, Stanley Perry, and two who died in their early childhood.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, Feb. 16 ^th at Corinth Christian Church, 1011 Corinth Rd., Lawrenceburg, KY, with burial following in church cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 15 ^th from 4 – 8 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Lawrenceburg, and 12 – 2 PM Wednesday, Feb. 16 ^th at Corinth Christian Church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Perry, Connie Drury, Terry Cooper, Alan Cooper, Roger Carlton, and Tim Perry.  Honorary bearers will be Don Cooper, Larry Cooper, Ken Shouse, Claude Waldridge, Ronnie Hupp, John L. Hume, Tommy Baker, and the elders and deacons of Bro. Perry's former churches.
