Brenda Gail Southard, age 69, of Fountain Run, KY, formerly of Lawrenceburg, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, in Bowling Green, KY. She was the beloved wife of the late James Edward Southard and the daughter of the late Roy Mathis and Lillian Margaret Smith Faubus. Brenda was born on June 7, 1955, in Shelbyville, KY.

Brenda dedicated much of her life to caring for others, working in various roles before retiring as a private home health nurse. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—tending to her garden, watching the hummingbirds that frequently visited her home, and attending the annual Godstock festival in Bowling Green.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Amy Webb (Mack) and Jason Brown (Karey); her siblings, Sandra, Sherri, and Leonard; and her cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Karissa, and Caleb.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at The Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brenda Southard Memorial Fund.
