Bonita Lynette Sutherland Watkins, age 58, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort, KY. Born in Harrodsburg, KY on December 31, 1966, Bonita was the daughter of the late Charles Allen Sutherland and Priscilla Merle Corn Hooper.

Bonita was known for smoking cigarettes and watching videos on her phone. She loved her family, especially her grandbabies. Whether it was going for country rides with her son, hunting, fishing, or going to food truck Friday, she loved spending time with her family. After her Mother's death, Bonita took in her Mother's dog Precious, who she loved dearly.

Bonita is survived her three children; Dylan Watkins, Cody Watkins (Ashli Bresina), and Cheyenne Bryant (Devin Franklin), all of Lawrenceburg; her step-mother who was lovingly referred to as, Aunt Betty of Lawrenceburg, KY; her half-siblings, Joy Renette Whisman (Russ) of Frankfort, Jason Lee Sutherland (Jessica Harris) and Travis Allen Sutherland, all of Lawrenceburg, KY; her aunt, Emma Denton of Lawrenceburg, KY; her uncle, John Wesley "J.W" Corn of Lawrenceburg; her grandchildren, Brody, Alyssa, and Sofia; and her cousins, Sharon Lyn Long, Marissa Sha Long, Ethan Whisman, Caleb Whisman, Brenden Sutherland, Allie Sutherland, and Mildred Ann Rogers.

Including her parents, Bonita was preceded in death by her stepfather, Billy Hooper and her brother, Charles Allen "Skipper" Sutherland, Jr.

The family has chosen a private service.
