Boneva Joy Hampton Hurst, age 84, wife of the late Don McKail Hurst passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022 in Shelbyville, KY.  Boneva was  born March 5, 1938 in Johnson County, KY to the late Bernard Hampton and Belva Lockwood Hampton.

Boneva  was a homemaker and enjoyed making floral arrangements. Boneva loved her Lord, and before her health began to decline was active in church.

Boneva is survived by her son, Mark Stewart Hurst and is wife Alisa of Lawrenceburg;  two daughters, Debbie Elaine Johnson and her husband Jeffrey Allen of Jamestown, OH and Lisa Karen Harris of Frankfort, KY;  six grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew, Samuel, Joshua, Laci and Michael;  several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren;  a son-in-law, Larry Hagan of Beattyville, KY;  and  a sister-in-law, Tennessee Hinkle Hampton of Crossfield, TN.

Including her husband and parents, Boneva was preceded in death by a daughter, Gwendolyn Kay Hagan.

Funeral service will be 11:30 A.M., Monday, August 29, 2022 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Speakman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lebanon National Cemetery in Lebanon, KY.  Visitation will be from 10 A.M., till time of service at 11:30 A.M.
