Robert A Sarver II

Born July 3, 1946- Died June 1, 2023

Bob Sarver was born in Butler, PA and raised in Evans City, PA. He graduated Evans City High school and earned an athletic scholarship to play football at Georgetown College, where he was a member of the undefeated 1965 team. He was a member of Kappa Alpha fraternity. Bob was a guidance counselor at Anderson County High School in Lawrenceburg, KY for 32 years, after serving in the same position at Carroll County High School and Osceola High School, in Kissimmee, FL. He also served as Treasurer of the Kentucky Association of College Admission and Secondary School Counselors, and in addition, was Nationally Board Certified as a Secondary Counselor. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Frankfort, KY. To the surprise of no one who knew him, Bob was an avid University of Kentucky football fan, Georgetown College supporter and a Pittsburgh Steelers diehard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert A, and his mother, Edith Harbaugh Sarver. He is survived by his wife Jenny, son Rob, grandson Rylan, his sister Karen Ferrari, and two nieces, Trista Weir (grandniece Morgan) and Tara (Mark) Glaspey (grandnephews Mason and Cooper).

A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 4 – 7 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
