Boyce "Bob" Clayton Cruse, 61, husband of Linda S. Haugen Cruse, passed away December 1, 2019 in Coco Beach, Florida. Born May 12, 1958 in Elizabethtown, KY, Bob is the son of Barbara Crain Fuqua of Brandenburg, KY and the late Allen Norman Cruse.
Bob retired as a Command Master Chief with the United States Navy following 25 years of service to his country. After retirement Bob was a transporter for the V.A. Medical Center – Leestown Road in Lexington, KY. He attended Eastern Kentucky University and was a member of the Sand Spring Baptist Church. Bob loved spending time with his family and his two pugs, Chloe and Bella. He was known for his love for cooking, especially his hot wings, and his love for all types of music.
Along with his wife and mother, Bob is survived by his four daughters, Stephanie (husband Nathan) Morris of Noblesville, IN, Melissa Miller of Fortville, IN, Megan (husband Cas) Walling and Emily (husband Nicolas) Hume, both of Lawrenceburg; five grandchildren, Kage Williams, Bailey Morris, Eleanor Morris, Alexis Miller, and Lynlee Sue Walling; and two sisters, Lycrecia (husband Bill) Kennedy and Carol Campbell, both of Lawrenceburg.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 11 th from 5 – 8 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 12 th beginning at 12:30 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Dr. Mike Hamrick will officiate the service. Burial with military honors will held at 2:30 PM Thursday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY.
Serving as pallbearers will be Nathan Morris, Cas Walling, Nic Hume, Kage Williams, David Huttons, and Rusty Webster.
