Mary Nevins "Blondie" Cinnamon Warford, 82, loving wife of the late Walter Coleman Warford, passed away August 2, 2021 at Baptist Health Lexington.  She was born April 29, 1939 in Mercer County, KY to the late John Alvin Cinnamon and Norris Hanks Cinnamon.

After working as a secretary for the KY Dept. of Transportation and on the bottling line for JTS Brown Distillery, Mary Nevins, as some call her, became a stay at home mom with the birth of her son Mark.  She devoted her life to her family and working on their family farm.  She was a member of the Salvisa Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years.  Blondie, as most affectionately knew her, lived a simple life working the New York Times cross word puzzles, sitting on her porch watching her cats, and enjoyed bargain hunting.

She is survived by her son, Mark Coleman Warford (wife Leann Hoskins Warford); four grandchildren, Amanda Warford (Casey) Edge, Mary Ann (Gardner) Adams, Allen Coleman (Brittany) Warford, and Luke Preston (Ally) Warford; six great grandchildren, Faith Elizabeth, Samantha Jo and Erin Brooke Edge, Benson Gardner Adams, Caius Coleman Warford and Shiloh Paige Warford; and a brother, Gene (Mary Ruth) Cinnamon. Also several other family members including Alton (Betty) Warford, Nancy Brown, John (Shirley) Warford, Robert (Yuki) Warford, Alma Warford, and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Kenneth (Suzie) Cinnamon, Betty Lou (Carroll) Sanford, Nell (Red) Lawrence; and other family members, Marshall (Billie) Warford, Hollie (Jewell) Warford, Jr., Davis (Louise) Warford, Jane (Jack) Spencer, Yvonne Warford, Stewart Brown, and Lawrence Warford.

Visitation will be 10 AM – 2 PM Thursday, August 5, 2021 followed by the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM Thursday at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Jonathan Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Cinnamon, Greg Cinnamon, Ellery Milburn, Johnny Lawrence, Brad Sanford, Dave Booth, Gregg Brown, Kevin Brown, Davy Warford, and Eric Penland.  Honorary bearers will be Shirley Hoskins and members of the Joy Sunday School Class at Salvisa Baptist Church.
