Blane Cook Service Broadcast

Blane Edward Cook, 67, husband of Darlene Elkins Cook, passed away June 26, 2022 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.  Born in Colorado Springs, CO on December 24, 1954, Blane was the son of the late Samuel Edward Cook and Beulah Mae Satterly Cook.

Blane held an Associate's Degree in Electricity and retired as an electrician with General Cable.  His enjoyments included hunting deer, wild turkeys, and rabbits with his brother, fishing, watching football, NASCAR, and horse racing.  He was an avid U.K. fan and loved playing with his new kitten Finley.

Including his wife Darlene of 34 years, he is survived by two step-sons, Kenneth Sams of Lawrenceburg and Scott Sams (Stephanie) of Frankfort, 4 step grandchildren, a brother Rickey Wayne Cook (Sharon Kay) of Louisville, a sister Jerelina Mae "Jerri" Stumph (Carl) of Willisburg, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Everett Gail Hood and Gary Paul Satterly officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3 – 8 PM Thursday.
