William Dudley "Billy" Stratton, 91, husband of Joyce Sea Stratton, passed away January 10, 2023 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY.  Born in Anderson County on September 19, 1931, Billy was the son of the late Obed Kenneth Stratton and Madge Beatrice Holt Stratton.

A former farmer and milk hauler, Billy retired from Square D where he worked for 27 years.  He was a member of the Lawrenceburg First Baptist Church and served as a deacon emeritus, sang in the Hims of Harmony, and was in the Fishers of Men Sunday School Class. Billy will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit and love of the Lord.

Including Joyce, his wife of 73 years, he is survived by four children, Sandy (husband Eddie) Humston of Versailles, Wayne (wife Bobbi) Stratton, Anthony (wife Tammy) Stratton, and Tamara (husband Keith) Currens, all of Lawrenceburg; 8 grandchildren, Leslie Fields, Andy Stratton, Heather (Michael) Fortney, Chad Stratton, Tripp (Allison) Humston, Deborah (Adam) Brock, Jesse Keith Currens, and Kaci (Jacob) Crouch; and great grandchildren, Mollie, Lexie, Kyleigh, Julia, Cole, Adam, Brayden, Caden, Kinley, Brinkley, and Eli; a brother, Kenneth "Bud" Stratton; and a brother-in-law, Charles Peach.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Lenora Drummond, Jane Wood, Janice Peach, James Silas Stratton, David Michael Stratton, and Geraldine Drury.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 14, 2023 at First Baptist Church, 111 N. Main St., Lawrenceburg, KY with Dr. Robert Ehr officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Friday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home and after 9:30 AM Saturday at First Baptist Church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tripp Humston, Michael Fortney, Andy Stratton, Chad Stratton, Jesse Currens, and Jacob Crouch.  The Deacons of First Baptist Church will serve as honorary bearers.
