Billy Lynn Neeley, 74, of Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Teresa McFadden Neeley, passed away December 24, 2022 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.

Born in Clay County, KY on December 31, 1947, son of the late Mary Downey and William Gordon Neeley.  A retired Lexington Police Officer, Billy also served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam Era.  He enjoyed fishing and vacationing with his grandchildren.

Along with Teresa, his wife of 54 years, he is survived by his three grandchildren, Cassidy Leanne Neeley, Jarad Lee Bowman, and Morgan Laine Allen; a great grandchild, Aria Delainie Clay; and a sister, Sue Combs of Indiana.  Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his two children, Jennifer Lynn Neeley Bowman and Bradford Laine Neeley; and a sister, Amanda Jean Smith.

Visitation will be 2 – 3 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2022 followed by the service beginning at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg, KY.  A private burial will be Thursday in the Lexington Cemetery
