Billie Lu Brown Hicks, 67, wife of Terry Hicks, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She was born in Versailles, Ky on February 13, 1957, to the late William "Billy" Author Brown and Mary Lucille Warford Brown.

Along with her parents, Billie was preceded in death by her siblings; Linda Marlene Snipes and John Lester Brown.

After graduating from Anderson County High School in 1975, Billie married the love of her life that same year. After being married for many years, one of Billie's favorite pastimes was picking at her husband, and giving him a hard time. They spent lots of time together fishing, hunting, camping, & gardening. Most of all she enjoyed her family, and spending time with her children and grandbabies.

Including her husband Terry, Billie is survived by her two children; Tara Louann Russell and husband Bill of Lawrenceburg, and Travis John Hicks and wife Jessica of Willisburg; three grandchildren; Katelyn Russell, Jaydin Hicks, and Mason Hicks; sister-in-law, Pamela Stewart of Lawrenceburg; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 am – 1:00 pm Thursday, May 16, 2024 followed by the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm Thursday at Ritchie and Peach Funeral Home. Rev. Joe Marshall will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Honeycutt, Cody Honeycutt, David Snipes, Travis Hicks, Bill Russell, and Jaydin Hicks.
