Funeral Service Broadcast for Beverly Cunningham

Beverly Kay Wells Cunningham age 73, wife of Connie Cunningham, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in Lexington, KY.  Born July 1, 1951 in Frankfort, KY, she was the daughter of the late Cletus Wells and Betty Jo Wells.

Beverly was a devoted member of Open Bible Church of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky where she was a part of the Women`s Ministry and the praise team. Her family talked about how strong she was in her faith and how she took care of everyone as if they were her own. Beverly was homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beverly also worked at Florida Tile, Cato's, Janie's Flower Shop and for the Special Education Department at Emma B. Ward Elementary. She enjoyed making flower arrangements and her children described her as an artist when it came to flowers.

Beverly is preceded in death by an infant son, James Cletus Cunningham. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Connie Cunningham; two children, Jeff Cunningham (Lori) of Salvisa, Melissa Carpenter (Dale) of Lawrenceburg; four grandchildren, Andrew (Sydney) Cunningham, Jacob (Katie) Cunningham, Brooke (Ethan) Hinkson, and Blaine (Lizzie) Carpenter; three great grandchildren, Shiloh Cunningham, Conner Hinkson, and one arriving in June, Riley Cunningham.

A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday April 15, 2025 at Ritchie and Peach Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Tyler and her brother Rick Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Alton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am – until the time of service at 1:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Serving as Pallbearers will be, Jeff Cunningham, Dale Carpenter, Andrew Cunningham, Jacob Cunningham, Blaine Carpenter, and Ethan Hinkson. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Richard Cunningham, Adams Wells, Dale Stratton, Leon Stratton, Jimmy Cunningham, Bob Meade and Jerry Franklin.
