Beulah Frances Smith Hawkins, 97, passed away Feb. 07, 2015 at the Melburn Family Care Home in Taylorsville, KY. The widow of John Pelham Hawkins, Mrs. Hawkins was born Nov. 25, 1917 in Anderson County the daughter of the late Davis and Frankie Ledridge Smith.

A former employee of the Mrs. Cox Shop in Lawrenceburg, Mrs. Hawkins was a member of the First Christian Church, the Victory Sunday School Class, Democratic Women's Club, and Modern Woodmen of America.

She is survived by a son, James Earl Hawkins and his wife Janna of San Antonio, TX. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Houston Smith and Alfred E. Smith.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, Feb. 12th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Rev. Micki McHugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 A.M. Thursday.
