Beulah Mae Satterley Cook, 81, of Bloomfield, wife of 62 years of Samuel Edward Cook, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at her home. Born June 16, 1934 in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Orthey Edgar and Vila Fay Corn Satterley. Including her parents, Mae was preceded in death by two brothers, James Truman Satterley and Wesley Gilbert "Gil" Satterley.

A homemaker, Mae was a member of the Chaplin Baptist Church and enjoyed reading her Bible, and spending time with her family. She was an exceptional housekeeper and a great cook.

Along with her husband Samuel, she is survived by three children, Blane Edward (Darlene) Cook of Lawrenceburg, Rickey Wayne (Sharon Kay) Cook of Louisville, and Jerelina Mae "Jerri" Stumph and her husband Carl of Willisburg; 4 grandchildren, Carl Bradley (Erin) Stumph II, Angellina Mae (Jimmy) Claunch, Joshua Wayne Cook, Troy Lee (Nicole) Stumph; 5 great grandchildren, Wyatt Bradley, Paxton Wade, Haylee Mae, Carl-Lee Ray, and Layna Nicole Stumph; a sister, Marcella F. (James E.) Hood of Chaplin; a brother, Harrison D. (Betty J.) Satterley of Glasgow; a sister-in-law Bertha Satterley of Scottsburg, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Paul Satterley officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 – 8 pm Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Stumph, Troy Stumph, Joshua Cook, Angellina Claunch, Jimmy Claunch, and Kalin Hood. Honorary pallbearers will be great grandchildren, Wyatt, Wade, Haylee, Carl-Lee, and Layna.
