Betty Mae Shouse, 77, of Lawrenceburg, wife of the late James Thomas Shouse, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Golden Living Center, Frankfort, KY. Born July 9, 1939 in New Carlisle, Ohio, Betty was the daughter of the late Robert and Florence Morris Shouse.

Including her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by a brother, Robert "Tommy" Shouse.

A housewife, Betty was a member of the Ninevah Christian Church and enjoyed playing Rook at the Anderson County Senior Citizen Center.

Betty is survived by two daughters, Vicki L. (Patrick) Devers of Lawrenceburg and Beverly Ann Shouse of Versailles; three sons, Richard Thomas (Rose Marie) of Coatesville, PA, James J. (Laura) Shouse of Lawrenceburg, and Charles "Gene" (Lorena) Stratton of Harrodsburg; four grandchildren, Amanda Shouse, Destiny Davis, Alex Davis, and Amy Stratton.

No public services will be held. Cremation was chosen with burial of cremains in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
