Funeral Service Broadcast for Betty Lowe Hatter

Betty Lowe Hatter, age 79, wife of the late Bobby Gene Hatter, passed away Monday, December 30, 2024 in Frankfort. Betty was born June 9, 1945 in Monticello, Kentucky to the late Walter Lowe and Dorotha Doss Elliott.

Including her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a son, Jacky R. Hatter; sisters, Anna Jane Barnett, Norma Hamilton and Lytha Hines; and her brother, Billy Lowe.

Betty was a retired Machinist with Osram Sylvania, a former Girl Scout Leader, a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Golden Pathway Fellowship.  Betty loved computers and working on family genealogy. Betty was a jack of all trades, good at whatever she put her mind to doing. Her greatest love was for her Savior and her family. She loved and cherished all of her grandchildren, and her sisters' grandchildren, which she adopted as her own.

Betty is survived by her son, Robby L. Hatter and his wife Peggy J. of Lawrenceburg; daughter-in-law, Judy Hatter of Lawrenceburg; sisters, Katie Massey of Somerset and Sue Reams of Walltown; grandchildren, Curt Bowen, Jeremy Bowen, Jenna Savage Fethane (Fahd) and Casey Hatter; 7 great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Pastors Sharol Byrd and Lynville Hatter officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 – 8 P.M. Friday, and after 9 A.M. Saturday till time of service at 1:00 P.M.

Casket bearers will be Casey Hatter, Jack Savage, Mason Hatter, Lainey Hatter McKinney, Roger Cupp, Christian Lanham and Michael Hatter.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Your Favorite Church.
