Betty Catlett Service Broadcast

Betty Perkins Catlett, 92, wife of the late Jim Catlett, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at her home.  Born in Madison County, KY on March 20, 1930, Betty was the daughter of the late Nolan Perkins and Dorothy Taylor Perkins.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Perkins Catlett.

A graduate of Lawrenceburg City High School, Betty worked for many years as the secretary at the Anderson Middle School and later as a secretary for the office of then Kentucky Governor Martha Layne Collins. She attended and was a member of the Anderson Christian Church.

Survivors include her children, Jane Ellen Presley and her husband Don of Pensacola, FL and Gordon Catlett and his wife Deb of Lawrenceburg; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three nieces and two nephews.

Visitation will be held from 11 am – 1 pm Saturday, March 26 ^th followed by the service beginning at 1:00 pm Saturday at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  The service will be led by Jonathan Gleason.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Tugwell, Jonathan Tugwell, Deon Harvey, Clay Cox, Miles Cox, Grant Cox, and Ross Cox.  Honorary bearers will be Reece Harvey, Coen Tugwell, and Roman Cox.
