Betty Ann Caldwell Robinson, 81, wife of the late Edgar Athel "Chunk" Robinson, Sr., passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Signature Healthcare Heritage Hall. Born July 15, 1937 in Mercer County, KY, Betty was the daughter of the late Charles Newton and Dora B. Smith Caldwell.

Betty was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She farmed and worked at Union Underwear and Tococo Inc. making blue jeans in Midway College. She loved watching NASCAR.

Betty is survived by her children, Edgar Robinson Jr. of Lawrenceburg; Betty Jean Tatum (Vernon) of Mercer County; Charlotte Hellard (Ronnie), Deborah "Deb" Hillard (Teddy) and Curtis Robinson all of Lawrenceburg; one sister Blanch York; three brothers, John Wesley Caldwell (Phyllis) and Roger Caldwell (Karen) all of Lawrenceburg; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Tom Ritchey and Jerome Hawkins; one sister-in-law, Gladys Smith.

She was preceded in death by one son, Charles Thomas Robinson; four brothers, Robert Pete Smith, Earl, Bill and James "Wop" Caldwell; four sisters, Susan Caldwell Ritchey, Jean Hawkins, Dora Lee Robinson and Audrey Riddell; grandson, Christopher Holbrook; great grandson, Brian Lee Tatum.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 15 beginning at 2:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Osborn officiating and assisted by Bro. Steve Wells. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery, Mercer County. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Thursday.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ray Caldwell, Danny Tatum, Charles Robinson, Brandon Woods, James Poteet and Roger Carlton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Eric Smith, Dr. Kevin Bierley and Shawn Caldwell.
