Elizabeth Faye "Betsye" (Caswell) Aker, 79, wife of the late Donald Edward Aker, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 in Pearland, Texas. Born December 2, 1938 in Franklin County, KY, Betsye was the daughter of the late Julian Dorsey Caswell and Irene Elizabeth (Ellis) Caswell.

Including her husband and parents, Betsye was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Scott Hickman; a brother, William "Billy" Caswell; a sister, Bonnie Caswell Dickson; and a nephew, William Shannon Caswell.

Betsye was a retired receptionist with Dillion Tax Service in Lexington. Betsye had a back ground in banking, and was a former employee with Lawrenceburg National Bank, and a former accounting clerk with Biggs in Milford, OH; she was also a Kentucky Colonel.

Betsye is survived by her foster children, Renay Elizabeth Beagle (Scott) of Georgetown, Mandy Michelle Dickson of Texas and Roy Thomas Dickson of Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Bethany Faith Whitaker (Johnny), Priscilla Umberson, Gregg Joseph, Brett Newman, Carolynn Mae Dickson and Cali Sky Dickson;   great grandsons, Otto Edward Maddox, Kye Brandon Whitaker and Kade Dwayne Whitaker; a sister, Brenda Caswell Duvall of Frankfort; and a nieces, Sonja Caswell Withrow, Jill Williams and Rachel Duvall Shaw.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 P.M., Sunday, August 4, 2019 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. A time of gathering for family and friends will be held from 4 P.M., till time of service Sunday. Interment of cremains will follow in the Antioch Christian Church Cemetery.
