Bertha Mae (Asberry) Devers, age 71 of Lawrenceburg, passed away Friday, February 21, 2020 in Lawrenceburg.  Bertha was born December 12, 1948 in Bedford, IN to the late Grover Asberry and Margie Marie (Davis) Asberry.

Along with her parents, Bertha was preceded in death by a daughter, Margie Marie Carter; a brother, William Jay Asberry, and two sisters, Elizabeth David and Janet Asberry.

Bertha was a housekeeper for many years, and also held several other jobs.

Bertha is survived by a daughter, Donna Jolly of Lawrenceburg;  two sons, Billy Butcher, Jr. and Richard Dale Butcher, both of Lexington;  three brothers, Jesse James Roland, Jr.,  and Jeff Asberry and Ricky Asberry, both of Indiana; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
