Funeral Service Broadcast for Bernice Shelton

Ida Bernice Ruble Shelton, 79, passed away January 6, 2025 at her home in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.

Mrs. Shelton was born in Anderson County daughter of the late Bernice Paul Ruble and Geneva Best Ruble. She was preceded in death by her husband William "Billy" Shelton and her son William Houston Shelton.

Bernice is survived by her brothers Larue Edgar (Judy) Ruble and Marcus Paul (Diane) Ruble, her daughter Billie Jo (Marco) Shelton de Gonzalez and her daughter-in-law Teri Reynolds Shelton, three grandchildren, Harlee Renee Shelton, Alexis Gonzalez and Nicholas Gonzalez.

A 1963 graduate of Anderson County High School, she retired from EDS/HP. During her retirement she enjoyed traveling cross country with her husband and spending time with family.

Visitation will be 11 am – 1 pm Thursday, January 23, 2025 followed by the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm Thursday, January 23rd at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Pastor Troy Shelton will officiate the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Derek Ruble, Daniel Ruble, Steve Shelton, Bruce Cole, Phillip Ritchey, and Travis Shelton.
