Barbara Lee (Cotton) Walker, 82, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020 in Lawrenceburg.  Barbara was the wife of 55 years to James Nelson Walker of Lawrenceburg.  Barbara was born July 4, 1937 in Spencer County, KY to the late Lester and Bertha (Shields) Cotton.

Including her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by two sisters, Waldene Bryant and Emma Jeffries.

Barbara was a member of the Mt. Eden Christian Church and attended Fox Creek Christian Church.  She was a graduate of Waddy High School and a former Tele Communications Operator with Kentucky State Government.  Barbara enjoyed her black coffee, country music, and deeply loved her special great nephew and his children.

Including her husband Barbara is survived by a special great nephew, Jonathan Cole and his wife Shannon of Lawrenceburg; three great great nieces and nephew, Carmen, Bailey and James Douglas Cole;  a great-great-great nephew, Ryder Cole;  and several other nieces and nephews.

Private services will be observed.  Burial will be in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
