Barbara Dale Robinson Stratton, 80, of Lawrenceburg, KY, widow of James Ralph Stratton, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Barbara was born on May 2, 1944 in Bardstown, KY to the late Roy Estill Robinson and Lela Daily Holt Robinson.

Including her husband and parents, Barbara was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Zeliff and Helen Robinson; and a brother, Lillard Robinson.

Barbara was a member of Ballard Baptist Church but most recently attended Fox Creek Christian Church in Lawrenceburg. Barbara was retired from Investors Heritage Insurance Company. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who was very loved. Her greatest love was her grandsons, as she could most often be found cheering them on at their sporting and music events. Barbara enjoyed gardening and raised beautiful flowers and tomatoes. She had great affection for her cats and spent lots of her time snuggling them while watching her favorite baseball team, the Cincinnati Reds. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Barbara is survived by her children, James R. "Jimmy" Stratton and Jennifer Beth (Joe) Rowsey all of Lawrenceburg, KY; two grandsons, Matthew W. Lunsford and Ryan J. Rowsey both of Lawrenceburg, KY; and a sister, Linda Wright of Harrodsburg, KY.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM Noon - 2:00 PM Sunday, August 25 followed by the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Ivan Spencer will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Lunsford, Danny Robinson, Chuck Dixon, Greg Atchinson, Jon Price, and Tracy Sipes.
