Barbara Ann Hawkins Massingill, 80, of Frankfort, wife of Ernest R. Massingill, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.  Born Oct. 29, 1938 in Shelby County, KY, Barbara was the daughter of the late John Calvin Hawkins and Ethel Williams Hawkins Driscoll.

Along with her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by two sons, Darrell E. Massingill and Duane Cameron Massingill, and her sister Judy Hawkins Grigsby.

A homemaker, Barbara was a member of the Sand Spring Baptist Church and enjoyed arts and crafts.  She especially loved to paint acrylic landscapes.

Including her husband, Barbara is survived by a son Dave R. Massingill and his wife Jane R. of Frankfort and a grandson, Johnathan Massingill.

Cremation was chosen.  There will be no public services.  Burial of Barbara's cremains will be in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
