Barbara Jean Maddox Aldridge, age 73, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 in Lawrenceburg.  Barbara was born July 29, 1950 in Spencer County, KY to the late William Thomas Maddox and Myrtle Elizabeth Nation Maddox.

Barbara retired from Florida Tile and Kroger. She took on the role of Mom & Nanny to many she worked with or met in the community.  Barbara enjoyed watching westerns, having picnics and being with her family. She was known for saying "It's Fine, I'm Fine, Everything is Fine, and I love Everybody"

Barbara is survived by her children, Wayne Aldridge and Angela Robinson (Dwayne Smith) all of Lawrenceburg; her grandchildren, Anna, Ava, Amanda (Jacob), Jessica (CT), Kurtis, Myranda and Jonathon;  her great grandchildren, William, Preston, Hollie, Lacey, Charlee, Rayna, Aerilynn, Karson, Kolton, Kinley, Kahne, Autumn, Baylee, Melina, Cheyenne, Silas, Elliott, Oliver, Kayden, Kaylee, Kolton, Kayson and Brayden; sisters, Shirley Bratcher (Jim) and Carolyn Metcalf (Rick); her many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly; and her loving grandson-in-law Donnie.

Waiting for her in heaven include her parents, her brothers, Larry, Fred, Harry and Paul; and her sisters, Helen, Mary Elizabeth and Linda.

Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Best Cemetery, 3320 Mount Eden Road, Lawrenceburg, KY  40342 with Bro. Terry Cooper and Bro. George Dye officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the family to purchase a tree in honor of Barbara.
