Anthony Goodman Service Broadcast

Anthony Goodman, 53, passed away unexpectedly on June 14, 2023.  Anthony was raised in Lawrenceburg, KY and has made Frankfort his home for the past 25 years.  He is the son of Sue Casey and her husband Forest of Lawrenceburg and the late Clyde Monroe Goodman.

Anthony proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.  He was a graduate of Kentucky State University with a degree in Biology.  Anthony worked for the Federal Highway Administration before pursuing his love of building houses.  Goodman Custom Homes was created, and he built custom and spec houses throughout Central Kentucky for many years.

Anthony had a love for deep sea fishing in the Florida Keys with his family and friends.  He also enjoyed hunting elk out West and deer and turkey on his farm in Anderson County.  One of his favorite things was singing karaoke and playing with his two granddaughters.  Anthony was known for his charismatic personality, infectious laughter, and always making those around him happier.

Anthony is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda Hutslar Goodman; his mother-in-law, Betty Lou Hutslar; two sons, Justin (Audrey) Goodman of Lawrenceburg, and Jake Goodman of Frankfort; two grandchildren, Kennedy and Karlee Goodman; a sister, Candy Johnson (Thomas Zipper); and five brothers, Scott (Kristi) Hoover, Patrick Goodman, Mark (Paula) Hoover, Jeff (Lee Ann) Casey, and Martin (Lori) Casey; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Anthony's Life will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 3 – 7 PM followed by the service beginning at 7:00 PM Monday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, KY.  Bro. Noal Cotton, Jr. will officiate the service.
