Anna Pauline Young McBride, 85, of Waddy, widow of James Donald McBride, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017. Born Oct. 12, 1931 in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late David William Young and Beatrice Lacefield Young. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Estes and a brother, Joseph T. Young.

Mrs. McBride was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Shelby County.

She is survived by four sons, Revel David Likes, Jr. (wife Connie) of Louisville, David Thomas Likes (wife Sheila) of Waddy, Donald Roger Likes (wife Becky) of Louisville, and Tony Likes (wife Tammy) of Louisville; a step-daughter, Eunice Harper (husband Wallace) of New Lugoff, SC; a step-son, Leo Cook of Andrews, SC; 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Wells of Lawrenceburg.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, January 9th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Smith and Bro. Glenn Corn officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Shelby County, KY. Visitation will be held from 2 – 6 PM Sunday.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jesse, David, Mathew, and Bobby Likes, Ronald and Gary Estes.
