Anna Moore Funeral Service LIVE Broadcast

Anna Louise Traylor Moore, 77, wife of Thomas Allen Moore, passed away on August 22, 2026, at Crestview Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Born on February 21, 1949, in Bracken County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William Houston Traylor and Anna Victoria Cotton Traylor-Burkhead.

Anna was a 1967 graduate of Pendleton County High School. After marrying Tom, she devoted herself to her family as a homemaker and lovingly raised their two daughters. Anna had a special gift for making others feel at home, particularly through her cooking and baking. She was a wonderful cook and an even better baker. She also loved to travel, especially taking cruises, and enjoyed spending quiet time reading, with Amish fiction being among her favorite genres. She was a faithful member of Sand Spring Baptist Church.

Later in life, Anna found great joy in giving back to her community. She volunteered in local schools, where she enjoyed reading to students, as well as at nursing homes and the local food pantry. She also volunteered at the welcome desk at Frankfort Regional Medical Center and with the Red Cross. Anna and Tom were actively involved with the Gideons, a ministry that was especially meaningful to them.

Along with her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Traylor; and her favorite nephew, Brian Keith Crouch.

In addition to her husband of 57 years, Thomas Allen Moore, Anna is survived by her daughters, Victoria Ann Moore Owens (Timothy) of Richmond, Kentucky, and Diana Carol Moore Boor (James) of Frisco, Texas; her grandchildren, Jonathan Owens, Travis Owens, Chantel Boor, and Kasandra Boor Logan (Jordan); and her sister, Mary Crouch.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, with Dr. Mike Hamrick, Bro. George Dye, and Kevin Cummins officiating. Burial will follow in Sand Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service on Thursday.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Owens, Travis Owens, Timothy Owens, Brandon Brown, Brad Crouch, and Mike Hayes.
