Angela "Angie" Joyce Young passed away on May 16th, 2025, in her home surrounded by loving family. Angie was born on May 12th, 1966, in Versailles, Kentucky, the daughter of Shirley Williams Young and the late Clinton Delbert Young.

Angie was a graduate of the Anderson County High School Class of 1984. Angie had a great love of animals, never hesitating to help one in need. She was an avid reader, enjoyed going on walks while being outdoors, and collecting rocks. Everywhere Angie went, she emitted sunshine and stood tall in the face of great adversity, resembling much like the sunflower, her favorite. Angie's strength and optimism carried her through many trials in her life; she fought her battle of cancer with courage and endurance that inspired her family and friends. Angie poured her heart into her job as an Eco tech; her talent for capturing impossible images and connecting with her patients was well known among her coworkers, who also adored her. She was beloved by all who crossed her path and loved big back, but above all, what she loved the most was being a Mammaw to her granddaughter, Ivory.

Preceding Angie in death is her father, Clinton Delbert Young.

She is survived by her son, Dustyn Watson (Shae Kellner) of Lawrenceburg; her granddaughter, Ivory Lily Watson; her mother, Shirley Williams Young; her brother, Barry Young (Renee) of Lawrenceburg; her sister, Anissa Young (Troy Abell) of Lawrenceburg; her nephew, Lucas Peyton; her nieces, Caitlyn Gritton (Christian), Courtney Young, and Cassidy Young; and her great niece, Madelyn Gritton.

A Celebration of Life in Angie's honor will be held on June 7th, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Rising Sons Home Farm Winery, 975 Frankfort Road, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.
