Amy La'Nell (Akers) Metts, 44, wife of 20 years of Roy W. Metts, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at her home. Born December 14, 1973 in Louisville, KY, Amy is the daughter of Brenda (Fields) Roark of Lawrenceburg and Ronald "Bud" Akers of Duncan, OK.

Amy formerly worked as a medical coordinator and was a member of the Westside Community Church.

Along with her husband and parents, Amy is survived by her son, Nathan Metts of Lawrenceburg; her sisters, Chandra Akers of Lawrenceburg and Autumn Slucher of Frankfort; her brothers, Timmy Akers of Ripley, OH and Jimmy Akers of Duncan, OK; and her best friend, Leah Pike.

Services will be held on Thursday evening, May 31 ^st beginning at 7:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Bro. F.D. Robinson, Jr. will officiate the service. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 – 7 PM.

A private family burial will be held on Friday at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery pavilion.
