Allen Thomas Perry, 80, of Georgetown formerly of Frankfort and Lawrenceburg, passed away November 28, 2016. Born May 19, 1936 in Anderson County, Allen was the son of the late Lemon and Mary Perry.

A former insurance agent for Life of Georgia, Allen was a graduate of Anderson High School and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Glens Creek Baptist Church, the American Legion Post #34 and enjoyed gospel and country music, playing the guitar, piano and keyboard.

Allen is survived by his longtime companion of 29 years, Barbara S. Purvis Crawley of Georgetown and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and their husbands, Ethylene (Bill) Wells and Luella (Carl) Cheak.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, Dec. 2nd at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6 - 8 PM Thursday.
