Allen Hutton, age 79, husband of Pamela Dearinger Hutton, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, of Frontotemporal Dementia.

He was born in Anderson County, to the late Theodore H. and Mary Lydia Hutton, and graduated from Anderson High School in 1961. He attended Eastern Ky. University and served in the Ky. 100th Army Reserves.

He retired as Vice-President of Mfg. from Publishers Printing. He served on the Board of Directors for the Web Offset Association (WOA) and the Kentucky Railroads.

His main hobby was golf, traveling with his wife and friends across the United States and overseas to play at 243 courses, including Pebble Beach,Pinehurst, St. Andrews, and Turnberry. Allen also enjoyed hunting in Kansas,Honduras, and Mexico and was an avid fan of the UK Wildcats. He was a great storyteller, and his quick wit made him a favorite of many.

Including  his wife Pam, he is survived by his daughter Sara (Chris) Lindsey;  his son, Shawn (Katie) Hutton, and step-daughter Christy (Robert) Bicknell;  he was known as "Big Al" to his four grandchildren, Makayla Lindsey, Harper K. Hutton, Lane (Madison) Bicknell and Jenna Bicknell;  a sister, Rita (Ken) Phillips;  three brothers-in-law, Dr. David B. Dearinger (Darrell Ung) and Kevin Dearinger; two aunts, Ruth Crossfield and Mary Peyton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a sister,  Barbara Hutton Hawkins.

A private graveside service for family and close friends will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at the Lexington Cemetery.
