Alice Rose Toler Chrisman, born January 19, 1941, went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 21, 2023.  During her 82 years, Alice lived a beautiful life as a wife, mother, and servant of the Lord. Truly born a "coal miner's daughter" in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky, orphaned by age 13, she and her sisters, Marie (Charles) Newsome, Betty (Edgar) Tussey, Ernestine (Ron) Poor, Barbara Toler, Virma Hobbs, and Johnnie (Donnie) Campbell, were raised by extended family members.  Alice married her high school sweetheart, Terry Lee Chrisman, on October 4, 1958. Alice and Terry raised their children, Rhonda (Rick) Courtney, Randy (Dawn) Chrisman, and Ryan (Kim) Chrisman on their cattle farm in Anderson County Kentucky. Alice is remembered by all who knew her as a sweet and loving caregiver. Her smile lit up a room, and she always said the funniest things. Alice loved music and encouraged her children and grandchildren to sing and play instruments. Her home was always full of music, and she was often heard singing hymns and Christmas songs any time of the year. She loved animals of all kinds, especially if they were babies. She was a founding member of Open Bible Church of Lawrenceburg, a supporter of The Gideon's ministry, and in recent years, a member of New Harvest Assembly of God in Frankfort. Alice was hard-working and took great care of her home and garden. She treasured her family, and was a fun and active grandmother to Lauren Hayes, Emily (Chris) Powell, Evan (Emily) Chrisman, Eric Chrisman, Justin Courtney, Jordan Courtney, Madison Burgess, Ethan Burgess, Cole Chrisman, and Rylee Chrisman. She also had the joy of spending time with her six great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry L. Chrisman, her grandson, Eric K. Chrisman, her sisters Marie Newsome, Betty Tussey, Barbara Toler, and Virma Hobbs, and her parents Everett and Lena Toler.

Services will be held at New Harvest Assembly of God, 3864 US HWY 127 South, Frankfort, KY. Visitation will be held Friday, June 30th from 1-3pm, with the funeral service starting at 3pm. Interment will be at Sand Spring Cemetery, Lawrenceburg, immediately following the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Powell, Evan Chrisman, Jordan Courtney, Justin Courtney, Ethan Burgess, Cole Chrisman, and Rylee Chrisman.
