Funeral Broadcast for A.C. Hays

A.C. Hays, age 92, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023 in Frankfort.  A.C. was born January 18, 1931 in Washington County, Kentucky to the late Argolas Hays and Irene Goodlett Hays.

Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving companion, Wilma Jane Hays, and the mother of his children, Daisy.

A.C. was member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.  He was a former farmer, employee with the Kentucky Department of Transportation, and a bagger with Kroger's in Lawrenceburg.

A.C. is survived by his children, Rita Keeling, Christie Burkhead and her husband Frankie, James C. Hays, Wayne E. Hays and his wife Brenda, all of Lawrenceburg;  eight grandchildren, Hailey, Dalton, Kathy, Adam, Dustin, Michael, Amanda and Zachary;  and eleven great grandchildren;  his siblings, Davis Hays, Willis E. Hays, and Nadine Corn, all of Lawrenceburg.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Gritton and Bro. George Dye officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M. and after  9 A.M. Wednesday till time of service.

Casket bearers will be Dalton Burkhead, Mason Gullett, Dustin Keeling, Adam Keeling, Michael Hays, Zachary Hays and Stephen Keeling.
