Brian L. Ritchie:Owner, Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Brian is a native of Lawrenceburg. He is a 1985 graduate of Anderson County High School and attended Asbury College. He is a graduate of Mid-America College of Funeral Service in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He entered into the funeral business with the former Huddleston Funeral Home (the current Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home) in Lawrenceburg in 1986.

Brian is the only child of Linda Buntain Ritchie and the late Eugene Ritchie. In 1992 Brian married Lisa Montgomery Gray of Frankfort. She is the daughter of Agnes Beasley Gray and the late Isaac Gray. They have two children, Adam Montgomery Ritchie born December 11, 1994 and Lauren Elizabeth Ritchie, born December 30, 1998.

Brian is a member of the Sand Spring Baptist Church, a member and past president of the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club, and a member of the Anderson County Gideon Camp. He serves on the Advisory Board of Hospice of the Bluegrass.

Brian is also the Coroner of Anderson County. He was elected to this position in 1994 and has served two consecutive terms. Brian previously served as deputy coroner in Anderson County, under coroner Billy Huddleston and in Woodford County under coroner Steve Ward.



 

Kim Pendelton:Licensed Funeral Director and Office Manager

Kim has been with our firm since 1991. She is native of Cincinnati, Ohio. She is the daughter of Lawrence and Ruby Godby of Cincinnati. She is a member of the Fairview Christian Church in Anderson County. She and her family have lived in the Lawrenceburg area since 1982. She is married to Tom Pendleton. They have 3 children, Heather, Daniel and Amber Pendleton. She has one brother, Greg Godby of Cincinnati.


 

David M. Walden:Apprentice Funeral Director and Embalmer

David is a native of Downers Grove, Illinois and is currently serving as a Level II Apprentice Funeral Director and Embalmer. After many years in manufacturing management, David joined Ritchie & Peach in July of 2003. David is currently continuing his education at Central Kentucky Technical College and will enroll at Mid-America College of Funeral Service in the spring of 2005.

David has been married for over 23 years to Lea Ellen Hostetter, a Lawrenceburg native, and they have two sons, Park and Kyle. David originally came to Frankfort, Kentucky in 1978 and has been living in Lawrenceburg since 1980.

David, Lea Ellen, Park and Kyle are all members of the Ninevah Christian Church in Anderson County. Plus, David is currently serving as the chairman of the Nick Beasley CAL Memorial Scholarship Fund, which raises money to provide Christian education for local teens. Also, David is Deputy Coroner for Anderson County.
